Rigorous coordination between architecture and the engineering disciplines, complete applications and management of tacit-approval deadlines now have direct financial impact: every month of permitting shows in the development\u2019s return.<\/p>\n<h2>3. In the product: design the market pays for<\/h2>\n<p>The right unit mix for the area\u2019s demand, floor areas that make the most of the index, energy efficiency that raises the exit value \u2014 design is the single variable with most influence on the development\u2019s total sales value. And in rehabilitation, respect for the existing building has practical value too: it eases permitting in historic areas and differentiates the product in the market.<\/p>\n<h2>4.
