This Privacy Policy describes how Tiago R. Correia, Arquitectos, Lda. (“TRC”, “we”) processes the personal data of visitors and clients of this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable national legislation.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form: name, e-mail, telephone (if provided) and the content of the message.
• Origin of contact requests: together with your message, we record the page of this website you viewed immediately before sending it. If you have accepted statistics cookies, we also record the first page you visited in that session and where the visit came from (for example, a search engine, an advert or another website). We do not record your full path through the website. If you have accepted advertising cookies and arrived through a Google advert, we also record the identifier of that click (a code generated by Google that does not contain your name or contact details).
• Browsing and cookies: technical usage data (pages visited, device type, IP address), collected through cookies and statistics and advertising tools — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to contact and quotation requests — pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b)).
• Understanding which pages and channels lead to contact requests: legitimate interest in assessing and improving the website (point (f)), for the page viewed before sending; consent (point (a)), for the first page and the origin of the visit, which are only recorded if you have accepted statistics cookies.
• Understanding which adverts lead to contact requests and, when a request becomes a project, reporting that result to Google Ads using only the click identifier and the date, without your name or contact details: consent (point (a)), only if you have accepted advertising cookies.
• Statistics, measurement and improvement of the website, and advertising — consent (point (a)), collected through the cookie banner.
• Compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting) — point (c).

4. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: contact messages, including the associated page and visit origin, for up to 24 months; client data for the duration of the contractual relationship and the applicable legal periods; statistics data according to the retention configured in the Google tools.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be processed by providers acting on our behalf, bound by confidentiality and the GDPR: Hostinger (website hosting), Google (Google Workspace for e-mail; Google Analytics and Google Ads for statistics and advertising). We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

Some of these tools (Google) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, namely in the United States. Such transfers take place under adequate safeguards — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

7. Cookies and consent

This website uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation and, only with your consent, statistics and advertising cookies. On your first visit, a banner is displayed where you can accept, refuse or configure each category; you can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the same banner, as well as manage cookies in your browser settings. The detailed list of cookies used is available in the cookie declaration accessible from the banner. To record the first page and the origin of the visit we use the browser’s session storage (sessionStorage), which is cleared when you close the tab and is only used if you have accepted statistics cookies. The identifier of an advert click is only kept in that storage if you have accepted advertising cookies.

8. Your rights

You may exercise your rights of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability and objection, and withdraw your consent, by writing to geral@tiagorcorreia.com. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Portuguese supervisory authority, the Comissão Nacional de Protecção de Dados (CNPD — www.cnpd.pt).

9. Security

We adopt reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal data against unauthorised access, loss, alteration or disclosure.

This policy may be updated at any time; the version in force is the one published on this website, with the date indicated below.
