This Privacy Policy describes how Tiago R. Correia, Arquitectos, Lda. (“TRC”, “we”) processes the personal data of visitors and clients of this website, in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR — Regulation (EU) 2016/679) and applicable national legislation.

2. What data we collect

• Contact form: name, e-mail, telephone (if provided) and the content of the message.
• Comments (articles): name, e-mail, comment text, IP address and browser user agent.
• Browsing and cookies: technical usage data (pages visited, device type, IP address), collected through cookies and statistics and advertising tools — Google Analytics 4 and Google Ads.

3. Purposes and legal bases

• Responding to contact and quotation requests — pre-contractual steps taken at your request (art. 6(1)(b)).
• Managing comments — consent (point (a)).
• Statistics, measurement and improvement of the website, and advertising — consent (point (a)), collected through the cookie banner.
• Compliance with legal obligations (tax and accounting) — point (c).

4. Retention

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes for which it was collected: contact messages for up to 24 months; client data for the duration of the contractual relationship and the applicable legal periods; comments while the article remains published; statistics data according to the retention configured in the Google tools.

5. Recipients and processors

Data may be processed by providers acting on our behalf, bound by confidentiality and the GDPR: Hostinger (website hosting), Google (Google Workspace for e-mail; Google Analytics and Google Ads for statistics and advertising). We do not sell or transfer personal data to third parties for their own marketing.

6. International transfers

Some of these tools (Google) may process data on servers located outside the European Economic Area, namely in the United States. Such transfers take place under adequate safeguards — the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and/or the standard contractual clauses approved by the European Commission.

This website uses cookies strictly necessary for its operation and, only with your consent, statistics and advertising cookies. On your first visit, a banner is displayed where you can accept, refuse or configure each category; you can change or withdraw your consent at any time through the same banner, as well as manage cookies in your browser settings.
