Engineering Services Coordination

We coordinate all engineering services around the architectural model.

We bring together all engineering projects — structural engineering, plumbing and drainage, electrical, thermal, acoustic and gas — ensuring full coordination between the structure and the architectural design.

A clear process, in four steps

04

A building with no conflicts between projects makes for a more predictable construction.

[01]

Definition

Identification of the engineering services required by the project and by the permitting authorities.

[02]

Integration

Coordination of the engineering teams around the architectural model.

[03]

Coordination

Clash detection in BIM, the digital model of the building — problems are resolved on the computer, not on site.

[04]

Delivery

Complete and coherent engineering services, ready for submission of the application and for construction.

Coordination in BIM

The engineering services are built on the central architectural model — conflicts are detected before construction begins.

Regular team

We work with trusted engineers, accustomed to our method and standard of rigour.

A single point of contact

The client has a single point of contact; the coordination of the engineering services is our responsibility.

Standard engineering services

06+

Structural engineering, water, drainage, electrical, thermal and acoustic performance.

Central model

01

All engineering is built on the architectural BIM model.

Checks

03

Systematic coordination at preliminary design, permitting and detailed design stages.

Phases

04

Definition, integration, coordination and delivery.

Frequently
asked questions

It depends on the type and size of the operation: structure, water and drainage networks, electricity and thermal performance are common; acoustics, gas, telecommunications and fire safety are added as the case requires. We define the list at the outset.
Both. We have a regular engineering team, but we naturally coordinate with designers appointed by the client.
It is making sure the architectural and engineering designs fit together — that the beam does not cross the window and the duct does not tear through the living-room ceiling. In BIM, these clashes are detected automatically.
Because clashes discovered on site are resolved with extra works and slipping deadlines. Coordination costs a fraction of what it prevents.
